Firstly, we start with the tea concentrate. You can make it a couple days in advance and I don’t know if I imagined this but it seemed like the tea flavor deepened the longer it was in the fridge. Why it would IDK, so yeah, probably just my imagination…
Next, you cook those weirdly delicious, little chewy black balls called bobas. I’m using the WuFu Yuan Instant Black Bobas from Amazon. 10/10 would highly recommend. After the bobas have been cooked to texture perfection and are in all their syrupy glory, spoon some ice on top of the bubbles, pour on the concentrate, and add your dairy. Boom. You just made bubble tea.
And it’s so fun, creamy, and absolutely delicious that you’ll make it again and again.
